We consider ourselves lucky enough to have four dogs on our team. A few seasoned veterans and a few puppies who have recently joined the ranks.

Tuka

Handler: Jason 'O’Neil

Details about Tuka will be added soon.

Cutty

Handler: Chris Hildman

Cutty is a year and a half old Golden Retriever born on the Teton River. He has attended AAI k9 and CRAD (Colorado Rapid Avalanche Deployment) training courses. Also has trained with Air Idaho for helicopter avalanche response. Hoping to validate early winter 21/22. He’s a pretty good boy!

Mikko

Handler: Casey O’Connor

Mikko is a yellow lab who has trained in courses with CARDA (Canadian Avalanche Rescue Cog Association), AAI (American Avalanche Institute), and CRAD (Colorado Rapid Avalanche Deployment). Mikko is training for area search that will be a great skill in the summer months as well. Mikko’s dad, Casey, has been teaching AAI (American Avalanche Institute) dog courses since 2016.

Clyde

Handler: Will Mook

Clyde has been a ton of fun to work with over the past several months. He’s just a pup still, so training sessions have been light and fun, but he’s showing great promise. While some dogs paw and dig at the snow caves with trainers in them, Clyde opens up the hole and goes right in!
